Performance consist of Bomba Dance a traditional Puertorican dance dating back to European colonialism, African musical influence and traditions with emphasis on Political and spiritual expressions. Bomba was and still is form of communicating anger, sadness, oppression and identity, the complexities of territorial colonial Puerto Rico. 


 Being from "La Isla" Añasco one of the rural west towns  and now living in the "mainland" Bomba has become a self identifiable form of conserving inner social political issues that are mostly overlooked in the mainland. Preservation of corners of the island that go underrepresented by employing the body to depict, celebrate and discuss such concerns.
